Bootcamp's Traction Training

One of our favourite elements of Bootcamp is that we can quickly adapt, add new content and explore new ways to keep you on track. As such, we are going to be changing our Monday call sessions from "Accountability calls" to "Traction Training".

Accountability can have the effect of feeling in trouble, or guilt for not reaching goals we've set or tasks we were supposed to have completed, and this is not what our time together is meant to be about. This is not the purpose of our calls, so we wanted to create some clarity. Our meetings are about understanding our numbers, whatever they may be, so that we know where we're starting from. What we mean by that is, if we know where we're starting, and what our goal is, then we can build a plan and gain some traction to move in the right direction. By doing the small steps daily, we are going to get the results we need in order to achieve that compounded bigger goal. If we aren't having these conversations consistently, if we aren't analyzing our work and tracking our movement, then we won't be aware of what is and is not working, what is getting us return on investment of time, energy, money, etc., and we ultimately won't gain any traction. 

As business owners, it is essential to have regular conversations about growth and progress. These conversations should focus on the goals, differences made, lessons learned, and questions that come up while in the boot camp process. This year is particularly challenging, so these conversations are more important than ever in order to gain traction, movement, and make money
